New Licence Application

London 23 January 2007 - Beowulf Mining PLC ("Beowulf") is pleased to announce that it has applied for a new licence (Ballek 5) adjacent to its existing licences Ballek 2- 4, in Aejeplog County, Northern Sweden. The licences are considered prospective for copper, gold and uranium.
